So... A lot has happened since we last spoke:

We have Saturday service back 6 days a week, but that's still not enough.

Councillor Fokkens allegedly has our backs, but she hasn't had much support from her colleagues.

And, the kicker: city council just backtracked on their earlier decision to not take a raise, and gave themselves extra money that could have gone to transit. They hear us, but they're not listening. What have they done to deserve a raise?!!?

Back to the petition: I'm in the process of drawing up a paper petition for Community Living and retirement communities, as recommended by multiple people. I'll keep you posted on that. In the mean time, I ask that you all please keep the petition going. Welland city council can do better. We deserve better.
