Council have refused any prospect of retendering despite admitting mistakes

During a public forum last night, Council have admitted that they

1. Did not consult with any of the community prior to or during tender process. They acknowledge that they should have done this. 

2. Have admitted they have lacked transparency 

3. Have lacked care and diligence with a failure in processes that were expected by the community 

4. Have failed with community standards by not acting in the best interests of the community. 

5. Acknowledge failures in timing 

Despite all this, they refuse to accept they are accountable and continue to assert that they have no reason to retender. Please keep spreading the message. Fingers crossed that the Ombudsman sees this for what it really is.
