Hello everyone,

First thank you all for your support in the fight against irresponsible cell tower installations! Unfortunately, 3 of the 5 city council members voted for the 112 foot Ski Run cell tower in January. However, the fight is not over; a re-hearing is now a real possibility, given the mistakes made by the city, and the extreme blowback from their decision. We need you to show up tomorrow at the 9:00 AM city council meeting for public comment--even your silent presence in the audience would be extremely helpful. Such precedent made tomorrow will also help guard against impending cell tower densification that will certainly affect our friends and neighbors you know in the future--if not yourself.

Last, the "nonprofit" Tahoe Prosperity Center is engaged in grassroots lobbying by disseminating telecomm industry talking points and propaganda to the public that denies there is any plausible link between wireless telecommunications facilities and real estate value loss and health effects. These arguments are counterfactual and are a real disservice to the public. Don't be fooled, there is real scientific cause for concern. Read some proof below:
