Thanks to all who showed support for a better Log House Landing plan and were able to attend the 9/3/14 Scandia City Council Workshop session. The turnout was tremendous and the City's response to FLHL was welcoming. The Mayor and Council members echoed their appreciation of the informative and professional presentation and were pleased to see engaged community involvement (thank you, petition signers!) The impression from the Workshop session is that the City is open to reviewing alternatives that will address the erosion and water quality issues while preserving the rustic nature of the landing.
