Thank you all for your support and for the words of encouragement about our effort to seek a more environmentally sensitive design to the Log House Landing improvements. There is an important City Council workshop meeting next Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Scandia Community Center. The meeting is open to the public and it is important to show the City that there is strong support for a significantly scaled back design. Friends of Log House Landing will be presenting two alternative concepts, with a strong preference for the least impactful option. We would like to encourage you to attend the meeting if you care about this beautiful scenic landing. We look forward to bringing the community into this process and working with the City to find a better solution. Hope to see you there!
