Hello Friends of Log House Landing, SAVE THE DATE: Scandia Log House Landing Public Hearing Tuesday, April 25, 2017 - 6:30pm at the Scandia Community Center PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND – THIS IS AN EXTREMELY IMPORTANT MEETING FOR THE FUTURE OF LOG HOUSE LANDING! At this meeting, the Council will hear from the public and then make a decision about how to proceed with the boat ramp access at the landing. This ramp decision will likely determine the fate of the entire Log House Landing site. The four options the Council is considering for the boat ramp are as follows: • LEAVE RAMP AS IS WITH NO CHANGES • CONTINUE TO PURSUE CONCRETE RAMP REBUILDING PLANS • CHANGE THE RAMP TO CARRY-IN WATERCRAFT ONLY - NO TRAILERS OR VEHICLES PERMITTED • CLOSE THE RAMP COMPLETELY The Council announced the public hearing date at Tuesday night’s Council session and posted information on the City’s website under the calendar’s 3/21/17 meeting materials. We will be reviewing this material and will provide an analysis and recommendation for action next week. Stay tuned and plan to attend!
