Spoke at City Council on Feb 1st. Council is discussing issues in executive session.

Well, I spoke my points at the council meeting. However, I was not a great speaker and I kept pausing and saying, Um. I hate it that I was not a good public speaker. However, I turned in the Speaking Points, with letter and the petition names and comments. After I spoke, two ladies from Wylie spoke to ask them to reconsider the speed change. Then two of our neighbors spoke in favor of the speed limit change. So, we will have to wait and see what the council discusses in the executive session. We had 110 signatures with 35 being Sachse residents. I would like to keep asking for more signatures from Sachse residents. I may have to go to Walmart or Dollar General and ask for more signatures in person if we don't see any results from our current effort.
