Meeting with Redmond Planning Department & Redmond Parks and Trails Commission

The Smith Woods Access Committee met with Redmond Planning Department representatives last Friday to learn more about access options the city is looking into for north entry into Smith Woods. They discussed 3 choices with the most favorable one being to creating a path through the adjacent water retention pond land belonging to King County that is managed by Woodinville Water District. They have contacted King County for a meeting and will update us with their findings in a couple of weeks.
There is a meeting tomorrow morning in Smith Woods Park with the Redmond Parks and Trails Commission. There will be a tour of the park and Jeff Aken will be in attendance. Please come and show your support for our north access point and learn more about the upcoming work that will happen in Smith Woods.
