Parks and Trails Commission Site Visit to Smith Woods

We were invited to join the Parks and Trails Commission for their on-site visit of Smith Woods last weekend. Meeting consisted of:

SMITH WOODS SITE VISIT

   -      Park Tour
   -      Discussion
            o  Up-coming pond/stream hydrology restoration work
            o  Northeast access issue
            o  Current neighborhood feedback about park development

Jeff Aken was in attendance and informed us that he emailed his contact at King County to set up a meeting two days before. This is the same point that Deputy Director of Parks and Rec., Rachel Van Winkle, and Park Planning & Cultural Arts Director, Carolyn Hope, told us we were at on February 22nd.
