Statements of Grounds in response to the amended plans must be submitted today, 25th September, to be considered by VCAT in the hearing in December. 

The amended plans submitted by the developer on the 30th August involve the demolition of the major part of the heritage protected buildings at 3 and 5 Tiuna Grove, only retaining the facades and their front bedrooms.  With the construction of two storey additions on each, the properties will be squeezed onto reduced allotments to allow for the new development at no 1, comprising 12 apartments, to wrap around the back laneway for almost the entire length of the three allotments.
