There is so much violence going on in the city of Philadelphia. It is time for us to call our own state of emergency because too many people are being killed by gun violence. Children are dying because of the careless criminal acts of others. We often look to our city or our state to solve our problems, but we should be the leaders that we have been waiting for! 

Children and babies are dying in our community and we cannot stand by and allow another mother to suffer over death. The state should give us the support and resources we need, but meanwhile we should take control and be a part of the solution!
