Happy New Years everybody! I hope your guys' year is off to a good start and you are staying healthy throughout the weird times. Today I want to update you guys that I have recently emailed the Mayor of Oshawa, Dan Carter, and I am awaiting a response. Coincidently enough, after I sent him an email I saw that North Oshawa will be getting a brand new Recreation Centre in the future. Nothing in depth was mentioned, but they did say that they are going to have a 30 acre property. I want to encourage you guys to sign and share this petition because I think that this is probably the best chance at getting them to help us get what we need for times like this where it is cold, snowy, and miserable outside. With all of the news articles, newspapers, the news, and even recently a school handing out assignments to different classes on this whole situation, I think that speaks very highly of the dire need for an indoor skatepark.
