Hey guys, so yesterday I was on the phone with a member of Oshawa's City Council. They reached out to me and said that they read that article that I was in for The Oshawa Express, and it sounds like they might be changing their minds. The person I spoke with on the phone was very interested in this and seemed like they really want to move forward with this. They also said that they are highly interested in helping make better changes for our community and help make it a better place. So, it seems like there might be some competition between both Oshawa and Whitby in terms of who will keep the ball rolling, right now it is a toss up. I will be working with whoever wants to do this, I am not favoring any side because I want to work with whoever wants to work with me. I appreciate Oshawa reconsidering and helping me get the ball rolling in the right direction, I am hoping that they want to continue moving in this direction for the sake of our great community. Thank you all for your patience in this, as well as sharing with your friends and family. We are currently sitting just shy of 1100 signatures. Let's keep it up! Now, we go back to playing the waiting game, and as always, I will keep you guys updated as I get updates.
