UPDATE: City of Whitby has been contacted.

Hey everybody, I was not expecting to get such fast responses from the higher ups of the city of Whitby, but they are on the ball. So, I contacted the mayor of Whitby, Don Mitchell, and he has put me in touch with the head of the Commissioner of Community Services. Obviously, due to the financial impact of COVID-19, the funds for the city are tight, but he told me that he is willing to hear my ideas and work with me. We are in the midst of setting up a meeting over the phone where we can discuss what us skaters NEED. There has been more people sharing and signing, so thank you for everyone who is doing their part in keeping this petition alive while I am doing my part of contacting the higher ups in our cities. I appreciate each and every one of you, lets continue signing and sharing! More news will come once I am updated, as usual.
