A lot of people in the Central Florida area ride the Sunrail, whether it's to get to and from work, to avoid traffic, or if they're just here on vacation with no vehicle. The only disadvantage of the Sunrail is that it doesn't run on the weekends, when people need it the most! Having it ride on the weekends would be a great idea because not only would it open up more jobs, but it will also help people that work on the weekends get to and from work, and avoid many possible DUIs!

Many people go to downtown on the weekends to have fun and have a few drinks with friends, but unfortunately, a lot of those people still drive after they're done drinking because they can't afford a Lyft or their friends can't take them home. The Sunrail would be a perfect way to avoid the possibility of them getting into an accident or getting a DUI since they would have a safe way to get home! Think about the lives it would be saving! Also, many people work on the weekends and have to take long bus rides, depend on other people, or stay in I-4 traffic for hours just to get to their job location; they would also benefit from this decision. Not to mention the jobs that would open up at the Sunrail stations-- we're talking hundreds of jobs that people could benefit from! This would also bring a lot of money to the city of Orlando so we could improve roads, public transportation, ect!

Overall, this would benefit everyone in the Central Florida community! Whether you work weekends and have no reliable transportation to and from work, or if you're just trying to avoid the crazy I-4 traffic! Having the Sunrail ride on the weekends would greatly help our community and I really hope we can get the signatures needed to make this happen!
