The residents living at Renaissance at Uptown Orange are demanding that the homeless encampments be removed from the riverbed adjacent to Renaissance at Uptown Orange.  The people camping here are leaving trash all over the trail and riverbed, they are coming into the property digging through the trash cans and walking around looking in cars and garages.  They are noisy and disrespectful and at time dangerously confrontational.  On more than one occasion, residents have reported the homeless people using and or dealing drugs as well.  Why are they being allowed to camp here when there are clearly signs posted that say no camping?  Despite numerous calls to the Orange Police Department, City of Orange, OC Sheriffs Department, OC Park and Trail and OC Flood control, nothing is being done and the encampments grow by the day.  We are demanding that the no camping ordinance be enforced, the encampments be cleared out and the trash etc be removed.
