
MONROE COUNTY RADIO:
During Monday night's Monroe City Council meeting, Council members were informed that the city received 4 responses to its RFQ for the facilitation of discussion on the General George Custer Equestrian Monument that is also known as Sighting the Enemy. The monument is located at the corner of Monroe and Elm in Downtown Monroe. The statue, by Edward Clark Potter, was designated as a Michigan Historic Site on June 15, 1992 and soon after listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 9, 1994.
The four that submitted for the RFQ (Request for Quote) process are:

-Michael LaHote
The next step in this process is to review the RFQ/Letters of Interest submitted next week.
