Amid the 'race for 5G', competition to 'win' a TESTBED, the community is calling: Halt, Pause, Check for safety before proceeding.

In no other industry would we not do just that. We would check for safety first.

Information technology cannot race ahead in the absence of safety checks. Where are the studies indicating that IoT, MMwave technology is safe ??

Extract following regarding U.K. Ambulance IoT TestBed:

"Concerns have been raised after three East of England Ambulance Service staff members died suddenly in 11 days.

On the 25th of September 2019 East of England Ambulance Service announced they were conducting tests on a 5G "smart" ambulance system.

Within 11 days of this trial starting, 3 ambulance workers suddenly died.

Three staff members at the East of England Ambulance Service Trust have died suddenly in the last 11 days. The news was confirmed by the Trust, who cover Hertfordshire, (Friday, November 22) but information surrounding the circumstances have not been released at this stage.

The Trust tweeted a statement confirming the recent deaths and outlining the support available to staff members and families. Dr Tom Davis, EEAST Medical Director, said: "We are extremely sad about the deaths recently of three of our colleagues.

"We have extended our sympathies to their families and friends at this difficult time and we have provided immediate support to them and to our colleagues, including a helpline staffed by trained experts.
