This petition will be used to gain the attention of the Mayor of the city of McAllen to put pressure on McAllen PD to pursue the man who openly threatened protestors with a chainsaw while saying racial slurs towards the crowd which is a class B misdemeanor under Texas Penal Code § 42.01. Disorderly Conduct. McAllen PD has failed to take this crime seriously and has now made it to where a citizen like me has to create a petition for this to be taken seriously. There is a video providing the workers employment truck which could have been used to call the employers (which I’ve done and talked to the guy himself) where McAllen PD could have apprehended the individual but has failed to do so.
