Dear Friends,

My name is Lyla, I am 10 years old and I have been trying to have the name of my street (Plantation Road) changed for the past year.  The name of my street means a place where black slaves were forced to work, in horrible conditions and were often whipped and punished, and sometimes killed.  

With everything happening in our world right now, slave language needs to be abolished.  Please sign the petition and help end racist language.
