I am looking to save my pet ducks. The oldest one is 9. The city by law states that they are livestock and not allowed. These are very domesticated animals, and indeed pets. They are a source of companionship and enjoyment. This is not livestock.

The City of Hamilton does not allow backyard chickens or fowl. I am looking for an exemption or a by law change to this, so that I would be allowed to keep my pets. Removing animals when they are older can be harmful to animals and cause distress. There is also the risk of them falling prey to wild animals. Please give Quacker and Sunny clemency.
