Thank you for signing and helping share this petition. It has been handed in to the office of Lindell Smith, Councillor for Halifax North this afternoon at 2pm. With your support we have received over 1700 online signatures, over 350 comments of support, and ~65 hand written signatures from stakeholders (businesses, residents and people who work on the street). Thank you to everyone involved in this process. Lets hope the city will change the name to honour a real hero and change maker in this city.
