It's been announced that J.L. Ilsley will be replaced!!! I'm so thrilled at the news (although "too little too late" for some students) I'm still very happy as this school DESPERATELY needed it and has for about 15 years if not longer. My thanks goes out to EVERYONE who pushed for this. To Brendan Maguire who pushed as well. REGARDLESS of what people may think because of our community being part of a liberal riding this school has needed to be replaced for YEARS, and we've been fighting to get it done. The minor repairs although extensive are still NOT enough to bring the school up to proper standards and it should have been replaced long ago. I pray and hope parents and community members come forward and talk to our MLA and work towards making this new school the best it can be! Aj.
