Link the Watershed with Local Transit (Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, Brantford, and Area)

The Issue

With the loss of Greyhound, and many years away from having two-way, all-day GO Train service, the time is now to link our communities together with local transit.

Link the Watershed is proposing a network (linkthewatershedtransit.wordpress.com) of four new conventional transit routes operated by our existing municipal urban transit providers (Brantford Transit, Grand River Transit, and Guelph Transit) as soon as possible; with additional service changes to the rural transit services Brant Transit, Wellington County RideWell, Ride Norfolk, PC Connect, and GOST to create a highly integrated network of rural and urban transit services and linking the Watershed.

The Link the Watershed area is the same size of Prince Edward island (P.E.I), has 4 high profile Universities and Colleges, a growing technology and manufacturing job sector, and will have over 1 Million people by 2030.

It is critical that we work together now to make travel in the area easier for everyone and help recover from Covid19 and the loss of Greyhound. Please support the proposal today! More information at linkthewatershedtransit.wordpress.com
