I wanted to thank you all for your support in opposing the renewal of the digital billboard. The hearing wasn't easy. What it really came down to was their word against mine in terms of whether this sign "faces" a residential building and if the sign impacts the residences near by. The opposing lawyer attempted portray me as the ONLY person complaining, so it's nice that not only was my voice heard but so was yours. We won this battle, but the billboard will be there until at least November of 2014. We can't let our guard down because unfortunately they can re-apply for a permit extension six months from know and we may have to go through this again! Let's hope they get the message that we won't let it happen so they don't try again. Thanks again and have a great day! Cecilia
