DEAR FRIENDS OF THE WESTERN CAPE

Calling all public to urgently fight for the firefighters of Cape Town. There is a huge battle going on to dismiss 525 fire fighters in the midst of their dedication to serve us when horrible fires like TABLE MOUNTAIN threaten us. Even though they are much needed at times like this and they always rise to the occasion. They are being thrown under the bus here.

They should be given their fair hours like law enforcement & Doctors and nurses have.Some have worked for 20 to 30 years and more (24hr shifts) and are being painted with the brush of incitement across the board. Even if they did not incite their teams they are still being charged for incitement for the fact that they did nothing while the strike happened. So whether they did something or did not do anything they are all trying to be dismissed by the City for incitement. MAKES NO SENSE!
LETS HELP THEM! THIS IS UNFAIR! I am doing this petition as the people need to rise up and help them save their jobs! With the pandemic our City wants to dismiss such a huge number of fire fighters amd their families must suffer after years of service!!!!. *My opinion...Probably to avoid payouts of pensions too is what I'm seeing and taking new blood who won't complain about the hours. WE NEED TO THE CITY TO HEAR OUR VOICES! WE NEED TO SAVE THEIR JOBS! WE NEED THEIR EXPERIENCE AND THEY ARE VALUABLE!
