Mayor Bill Kampe and Council members: Ken Cuneo, Rudy Fischer, and Cynthia Garfield completely sucker punched the residents at the “STR workshop”. The Mayor and Council members voted and instructed staff to draft an ordinance removing the license lottery, ALL 283 STRs are grandfathered in, all Type B (90 days or less) are now Type A (365 days a year), and they are doing nothing regarding density. Business as usual folks, the Good ol’ boys have spoken. A sad day for Pacific Grove.
