Mar 25, 2015
Following the 3 protests held in different major cities (Ottawa, Calgary, Mississauga), Canada Inland Spousal Sponsorship Petitioners group will host and fund the next protest next month in Montreal on Saturday April 11 2015 at 1PM at Montreal City Hall. This protest will continue to share the same messages to Canadian general public and Immigration Canada that the government must work diligently to clear AIP backlog and make the process efficient and fair to these affected Canadian families.

To date, the processing has increased to 27 months, triple the processing time it took in less than 2 years ago. At the time former Minister of Citizenship & Immigration Canada Jason Kenny quits the Immigration portfolio in 2013, the processing time Stage 1, also referred as Approval in Principle, was only 6 months. The new Minister of Citizenship & Immigration continues to ignore the issues facing thousand Canadian families.
