Keep St. Patricks Day The Same

The Issue

A lot of historical value is gone in South Boston, from the little red house on East Broadway, to the Saint Patrick's Day Parade route being changed. Mayor Marty Walsh said on the news tonight that "A parade is not historic, it's a celebration" while Mr. Mayor the parade was created to celebrate the day the British left Dorchester. Originally South Boston was Dorchester, that is why we have the Dorchester Heights. Why has Southie been kicked to the curb in the last 3-4 years? Let's stand up and fight against the kid from Dorchester who thinks he can ruin traditions.
