Recently, Todd Ackerman of Marysville, KS, was released of his duties as Chief of Police. This decision was made solely by the City Administrator as City Council had recently passed an ordinance allowing the City Administrator to have the power to make such a decision. We want Todd to be reinstated as COP of Marysville KS.

UPDATE: The ordinance first came to vote to change it on 6/28 and passed to install it on 7/26. Frye, Hughes, Schroller and Beikman voted no with mayor breaking a tie yes vote. 7/26 meeting Frye and Beikman were absent (due to work) and it was known they would not be present. A vote was done anyway and passed the ordinance.
