The Issue

Mike of Citizen Warrior spearheading the Global Celsius Initiative with the aim to rapidly raise awareness regarding the Celsius Network’s recent financial uncertainty, which for several weeks now has restricted its 1.7M users from accessing their deposits. We believe they are restricting in a good faith balanced effort btw Celsius Shareholders and Stakeholders BUT if they do not pull through, and this event unfolds outside the public eye, the balance will be heavily tilted away from working/middle class Americans and Men and Women around the World.
We suspended our own decentralized media startup (we believe journalistic integrity died decades ago) and so for your viewing pleasure, here's a taste of our tech baby, temporarily suspended, in furtherance of achieving #GlobalCelsiusInitiative's top Objectives. We're just waiting on our fave independent politician to agree to determine the allocation of funds this initiative's GoFundME campaign before we go full out on this campaign (not accepting donations until he agrees to it). In short, I've been eating a lot of beans lately and that's not good for anyone.

CW’s Global Celsius Initiative’s main objectives are as follows:
- Create Awareness: With YOUR help, we MUST elevate this event into the public consciousness by cooperating with the Corporate Press and New Media with a large reach, to prevent this event from unfolding in darkness by shinning a light on the Celsius’ “financial restructuring” currently underway.
- Earn Our Counsel a Seat at the Table: If we succeed in registering this event into the public consciousness, we will have both the leverage and counsel required to attempt, in the spirit of cooperation, establish a fair and just path forward that would safeguard both the livelihoods of the 1.7M Celsius customers and minimize losses for Celsius’ shareholders.
- Lending a Helping Hand to 1.7M affected: No matter if we succeed in objective #2, many will still be in dire financial need. Thus, we will in reasonable time and only if the Celsius Community wills it, will prolong suspending our owns venture and will incorporate a 501(c)(3), using our own retrofitted online system to locate those most negatively impacted by this event, by cooperating with NGOs around the globe to provide hope and opportunity to those most devastated.
This petition is more of a “Call to Cooperation'' than anything, to help raise awareness regarding the Celsius Network’s recent financial uncertainty aka “financial restructuring,” which for several weeks now has restricted its 1.7M users from accessing their own deposits.
Unfortunately, It Gets Worse.
If Celsius Network goes under, its users will likely lose all their deposits and a reasonable percentage (speculation, based both on my own personal holdings and on those who’ve come to us with their own stories… nearly unbearable to hear, quite frankly), will lose much of their life’s savings.
What is Celsius Network?
Celsius Network is a centralized digital asset platform where you can either take out low-interest loans from the company based on your digital assets held in their custody or deposit your digital assets where they in turn utilize various mechanics to generate yield and return to the depositor weekly passive income. Some amount (unknown) of Celsius’ customer base deposited their life’s savings into their app because at the time it appeared to be the most sensible decision, given the available opportunities, to trust a US-based entity, to help them hedge against the damage caused by rising inflation by generating yield (passive income) on their assets.
FDIC Insurance?
Marketing campaigns of the Celsius Network were questionable, which may have led many to believe that their accounts would be FDIC insured, a reasonable assumption, given, we in the US pay (in the form of taxation) for reasonable and responsible regulatory oversight. So, due to effectively no fault of their own, some percentage of the Celsius’ 1.7M customers are now looking at the prospect of complete financial ruin.
Why is This a Problem?
Even though users can no longer access their money, they are still expected to pay interest on loans and cover margin calls which incur a 3% processing fee (Margin call is a last warning to either pay off a loan IN FULL or add additional collateral to their existing deposits so that if the value of the asset falls below a certain threshold, the individual’s assets are liquidated enough to remain above the allowed threshold).
In other words, Celsius is asking people, people who no longer have access to their deposits, to give them even MORE money to cover their margin calls, with absolutely no guarantee (not so much as an implied nod) that the individual will ever get any of their deposits back. This is a lose-lose scenario for all those 1.7M individuals who entrusted their deposits, again, some representing much of their life’s savings, with Celsius ownership.
A sizable portion of these individuals, our fellow brothers, sisters, and neighbors worldwide, are about to go from “GETTING BY” to “ZERO.” Further, if they are without external familiar support as I am and many others are, this will undoubtedly, and history bears this out, result in a Global spike in DEATHS of DESPAIR.
Why is this Urgent?
This is urgent because the withdrawal capacity for all users is still halted for an indefinite period while Celsius ownership is shopping multiple counsel for “financial restructuring,” which could mean anything relative to if the depositors will ever get their deposits back. Thus, due to us not knowing the intent (despite all our many efforts) of this “financial restructuring”, many are left with a justified sense of impending doom, fearing that themselves along with their family will soon be thrown into world of utter uncertainty and meaningless suffering.
What is the Solution?
There are many and we should continue to explore and expand more in good faith and in the spirit of collaboration WITH Celsius ownership.
What Are WE Doing?
For Real??? lol j/k. I have personally committed up to ~1/3 ($USD) of what I have remaining OUTSIDE the Celsius App to help raise awareness to give the Celsius’ customers a voice during this increasing uncertain time. Along with my small and talented team, we are wholeheartedly committed to the Global Celsius Initiative.
The depositors within Celsius which we’ll call the “Global Celsius Community” ought to be represented during this financial restructuring process. For what must soon become a collaborative effort, for us and our counsel to be effective, the event MUST occur under the public eye. If our counsel is not there to speak up for the interests of the Global Celsius Community, we run the risk of shareholders acting in accordance solely with their own self-interest without just consideration towards their customers.
To be clear as not to impugn intent, we are not saying this is their gameplan, in fact, we do believe they are looking to remain for the means to remain solvent amongst other things. What we are saying is that, on average, the likely outcome given Celsius’ ownership present circumstances would follow that of any fiduciary’s responsibility towards their investors. This would be tragic to all Celsius customers, and therefore we MUST get a seat at the table, and we must get one NOW.
