The CIAC is discriminating against Max and it has nothing to do with eligibility. He should be aloud to play, its his senior year and he is a full time senior who is 18 through the year and It’s not fair that he isn’t allowed to finish with his friends. He should be able to live out his high school days and make memories. Max is very passionate about Hockey, he is an honors student and has a full load of credits as a normal senior, with that being said, his sophomore year he suffered a neck fracture and a major concussion which is why he wasn’t able to finish that year of schooling. He repeated that’s why he didn’t have consecutive semesters. Last year he was only able to play 3 GAMES EVER in high school! The CIAC has failed to recognize that and therefore signatures are needed to let Max play against this unfairness and injustice.
