Re-Open Historic Whites Ferry Crossing!

The Issue

Pay $0.50 Cents to Rockland Farm per car.

Sign Agreement to Use Virginia Landing.

Re-Open Historic Whites Ferry Crossing.

Vote Yes to $0.50 Fare Increase for Easement.

Chuck Kuhn Stop Stalling and Pay $0.50 to Rockland Farm per vehicle for permission to use private property and open up Whites Ferry.

Vote No to Eminent Domain by Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to Condemn only Rockland Farm LLC private property.

Montgomery County MD is in a joint study with Loudoun County Virginia known as the White’s Ferry Study. AECOM and Stantec are the two companies conducting the one sided study of using Eminent Domain to condemn the Virginia Shoreline.

FOIA Freedom Of Information Act Request to Loudoun County Virginia has been denied. Loudoun County Virginia paid $100,000.00 and Montgomery County Maryland paid $100,000.00 to conduct Whites Ferry Study. How were these companies selected? How many bids were received? Why not look at Eminent Domain for the Maryland Shoreline?

Emily Hayes, Loudoun County Virginia Administrator Office representative on Thursday August 26th 2021 states, “Loudoun County Government reserves the right to only respond to FOIA requests from Virginia residents pursuant to Virginia Code § 2.2-3704(A).”

No statement has been made to use or consider to use Eminent Domain to condemn Whites Ferry on the Maryland Shoreline for public use.

Chuck Kuhn has to pay his dues one way or the other and the fastest solution would be to resume negotiations with Rockland Farm LLC. HELPAMERICA Inc. along with all supporters of this petition implore the parties to get back to the negotiating table now!

The Courts has already ruled that Whites Ferry has been Trespassing for the past sixteen (16) years. The Circuit Court of Virginia awarded damages for destruction of property in excess of $100,000.00 and if payment was made, this is an admission of guilt. Do the right thing now and it is time to pay your dues Chuck Kuhn!

Loudoun County’s Blue Ridge District Supervisor Tony Buffington makes a statement to HELPAMERICA Inc. in connection with the Change.org petition on the White’s Ferry Situation on Wednesday August 25th, 2021:

“I believe reopening the Ferry is necessary as it is an integral part of the region’s multi-modal transportation network. I hope the private parties involved will reach agreement to re-establish Ferry operations ASAP; however currently that effort appears to have been exhausted without resumption of Ferry operations.

Resumption of this regionally necessary transportation alternative is my top priority in this matter and I look forward to continued efforts to re-establish this important transportation alternative ASAP.”

Calling on all local, state, and federal elected officials in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and surrounding jurisdictions to go on the record and state their position on The White’s Ferry Situation.

Silence is and will be considered as agreement with a one sided study of Eminent Domain by Loudoun County Virginia and Montgomery County Maryland.

Calling all News Media Outlets to properly investigate this White’s Ferry Study, and Stop Eminent Domain Abuse by Loudoun County Virginia Government and Montgomery County Maryland Government. Democracy is depending on you doing the right thing, and the American Public is watching and paying attention to the lack of transparency.
