Hello, I am very sorry to have contacted you again, but, given how extreme the situation is, I would be remiss if I did not let folks know that due to the very active and very disturbing fire season that we are having, another petition has started to once again demand the Martin Mars be reactivated. This season is a step way beyond last year. There is even a wildfire burning literally within site of the Martin Mars base on Sproat Lake. I am not running the new, basically identical, petition but I thought it would be important and appropriate to notify you all about this new petition which has gathered over 2500 signatures in just half a day.
