I’m so proud of this small but mighty army we’re building—for Christopher and for the countless others silently battling severe mental illness.

I’ve officially taken the first step by reaching out to California State Senator Steve Padilla and will be sending him a personal email next. I plan to continue contacting other key leaders, including the state assembly and attorney general.

I also want to encourage YOU to do the same. Reach out to your local legislators—tell them how this issue affects you or someone you love. With the help of ChatGPT, I was able to write a clear and impactful letter and even find the right contacts to send it to. I’m happy to help anyone else do the same.
