Christie administration approves inhumane leghold traps

The New Jersey legislature banned the possession, use, manufacture, sale, importation, or transport of Steel-jaw leghold traps 1984 out of concern for animal welfare. But under Christie's administration, the The New Jersey Fish and Game Council (FGC) has brought it back. The picture speaks for itself, it's horrific to say the least. It's appalling that our legislators would allow this to be done to defenseless animals. Senator Lesniak's resolution, SCR175 is fighting to overturn this law, please support it. Animals are voiceless, specially in New Jersey. Change is needed, NOW.
