I sent the petition mid-day today and I heard back from Headmaster Curtis and Board Chair Michael Carr earlier this evening. They informed me that former Headmaster Dey resigned as a Life Trustee yesterday and former Headmaster Shanahan resigned today. They thanked all of you for your candor and concern and said that they will be communicating with the entire Choate community shortly. I want to convey my deepest appreciation for everyone who took the time to sign, to share, to comment and to reach out. No doubt there are additional steps that Choate needs to take to truly move forward, but I hope this has been one concrete contribution toward that end. With gratitude, Amy Class of 1994
