Thank you for signing the petition to remove the Life Trustee designation from former Choate headmasters Charles Dey and Edward Shanahan. In just one day we: 1) received more than 100 signatures; and 2) had a news story in the Record Journal. Choate's spokesperson told the reporter, "We understand that publishing the report...is only one piece in an ongoing process." This gives me hope that if we continue to push, we can get a fair hearing from the Board of Trustees. I'm asking for your help over the next 24 hours so we can get as many supporters as possible for the petition. If you are willing, I am asking you to email Choate friends with a link to the petition, post the link on your Facebook, and/or post on your Choate class page on Facebook. At the end of the day on Friday, I will send the petition directly to current Headmaster Alex Curtis, Board Chair Michael Carr, and Associate Headmaster Kathleen Lyons Wallace.
