One Minute Can Help Millions of Chickens

A new study was just released showing that 4 out of 5 Americans support restaurants requiring their suppliers to adhere to meaningful chicken welfare standards. Unfortunately, Chili’s isn’t responding to these consumers’ demands. And they have no excuses not to. Last week, Perdue Farms pledged to supply any company with chickens that meet the standards of the Global Animal Partnership. The list of restaurant chains that have made a meaningful commitment to chicken welfare continues to grow. And if Burger King, Subway, and Jack in the Box can commit to better chicken welfare, so can Chili’s. But to get Chili’s to make a similar commitment, we still need your help. Can you spare one more minute to help the millions of chickens in Chili’s supply chain? Take the following action, then share our petition. I won’t be eating at your restaurants until you publicly commit to meaningful chicken welfare standards, just like TGI Fridays and Red Robin have already done. Consumers want to support companies with strong animal welfare commitments. My friends and family and I won’t be eating at your restaurants until you make such a commitment.
