URGENT ACTION NEEDED! JBC VOTES 1/24/2024 after 10 AM

PBT, non private equity providers and families we need your help TONIGHT! 

Medicaid is gaslighting PE and blaming them for the crisis autism services is experiencing which we all know is FALSE. 

A motion was put forth tonight for JBC to recommend an emergency supplemental rate increase for PBT to get us relief as soon as Feb 11th by increasing our rates to the MPRRAC recommended rates (as identified by COABA). This is HUGE for us but we are at risk of Medicaid and/or the Governors office trying to kill this tonight before the JBC meeting resumes tomorrow at 8:30a before they can discuss and vote.

All non private equity staff and families, please email the JBc members to explain that this is not a PE issue and that these rates are putting small companies out of business. If anything, PE companies have investors that can help them survive this crisis while small, independent companies go out of business resulting in a PE monopoly. 

To be clear, COABA is not anti-PE. Families deserve CHOICE of providers and we need as many providers as possible to attempt to meet the need in CO. This is about disproving the bogus “red herring” attempt by Medicaid. 

Please get these emails sent tonight by providers and families! Our lobbyist said as many non PE emails as humanly possible to disprove Medicaid claims.
