Neighbors, Momentum is building, but the next step matters. 📅 City Council Meeting Monday, May 4 at 6:00 PM Jacksonville Beach City Hall 11 3rd St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 If you can attend, please do. A strong community presence makes a difference. 🔹 What We’re Seeing Residents across our community are being impacted in real time: * Traffic and safety concerns along 15th Street * Changes to the site plan near residential homes * Lack of buffering and privacy protections * Ongoing construction impacts These are not isolated issues. They are happening across multiple neighborhoods. 🔹 Our Position Remains the Same The Planning Commission approved this project in 2018 with specific conditions and a site plan. Plans currently guiding construction appear different from what was originally approved. If the plans or conditions have changed, the process requires review. That has not happened. 🔹 What We Are Asking For * A pause on construction * Planning Commission review of any changes * Enforcement of the conditions already in place 🔹 Take Action (2 minutes) 👉 Email City Council and the Mayor A template is available here: [INSERT LINK] 👉 View and share our latest update Meet Barb, Sarah, and Victoria: [INSERT POST LINK] 👉 Attend the meeting on May 4 at 6 PM 🔹 Why This Matters This is about our neighbors. This is about process. This is about making sure the rules are applied consistently. Our neighborhood matters. We’ll continue to share updates as we move forward. Respectfully, Donnie
