My interview on this mornings BBC Radio London discussing the discrimination our autistic children and teens are facing from Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Listen to CAMHS response to BBC, despicable, uncaring and dismissive! How can they possibly determine what services our kids need without assessing them?

My son has something to say and sent this short mesage to everyone by way of me reading it out:
"I think its a diagrace that some kids dont get the same treatment as non autistic kids. The sad thing is that there is more stuff like this that needs to be changed"
As parents of autistic kids we are given the message loud and clear by our local authorities and the government that our kids are irrelevant.
That they are not worth investing in.
We have to fight for support, we have to put in appeals for early heath care plan's, for SEN specialists and for therapies.
And now the only mental health specialists available on the NHS are making us fight for our kids lives, for our kids sanity, for their right to exist.
Its unconsiable.
Camhs turned away not only my son, but THOUSANDS of other kids and teens simply because they are diagnosed autistic.
Kids and teens who are suicidal, self injurious and traumatised.
As autistics we are 9 times more likely to take our own lives.
We as autistics already feel excluded by society, to then be turned away for mental health help when liable to take our own lives simply further compounds the reality that we are not included, we are excluded.
So our kids want to die? Well guess what? CAMHS are not interested."
