Yesterday I went up to Change.org with my son and met their amazing team, they were lovely with my son and he felt empowered meeting them and knowing so many people are behind him.

I want to thank you all for coming on this campaign journey with us, I need to ask more of you as CAMHS cannot be allowed to continue to get away with this. We owe it to our kids and teens to fight this sickening injustice.

Please can you all submit a freedom of information request to your local NHS Trust? You need to be specific in the questions you put in it, for example ask them how many of the kids and teens that were turned away from CAMHS had a diagnosis of ASD? How many were told a referral to some other service was advisable? What was the other service if any? How many of these kids and teens were BAME? Lets see how bad this problem is across the UK.

Please also can anyone who's autistic child/ teen has been turned down for mental health help from CAMHS email Emily? 

Shes looking for parents who have had a letter stating camhs 'agree that the child has emotional difficulties but they dont feel the child would benefit from mental health support services at this time.' : emily.unia@bbc.co.uk

Right now as I type this, somewhere in the UK there is an autistic child or teen that is having suicidal thoughts. There's an autistic child or teen thats hurting themselves intentionally. Do CAHMS, the ONLY mental health service for children and adolescents in the UK offer help and support to their desperate worried parents?

No.

Do CAMHS give the much needed and in many cases life saving support and mental health help that is needed to that child or teen? 

No.

Because there is a diagnosis of ASD on the child/ teens referral letter. 

Disgusting discrimination.
