Kid: I ate in the early morning when it’s dark. I am told not to eat or drink all day!
-- Where should this 9 year old girl reach out for help?
Every year for 4 weeks from dawn to dusk, these children are not allowed to have any food or drinks!
This is not comparable at all to a one night fasting for a blood test!
Starvation is a form of torture that is used on prisoners in some countries.
Millions of young girls starting at age 9 are victims of fasting during “Ramadan”. This child abuse can be seen across the world, possibly in your own neighborhood!
Their parents, guardians and teachers should be held accountable for subjecting children to severe hunger and thirst, which can cause permanent damage to their growing bodies and developing brains.
We should not remain silent nor cover up this case. Denying or pretending it is not important, may cost the life of a child!
Should we contact the local authorities to find out what are the laws about this case?
Do the authorities ignore this kind of unacceptable abuse against children by categorizing it as cultural?!

تلفنچی: میتونه حرف بزنه؟
کودک: نه! اون نباید بدونه زنگ زدم!

کودک: تازه 9 ساله شدم
تلفنچی: از کی غذا نخوردی؟
کودک: از صبح زود توی تاریکی. بمن میگن روزها نباید آب و غذا بخورم!
-- این کودک 9 ساله از چه کسی کمک بخواهد؟
چهار هفته در سال از سحر تا غروب به این بچهها غذا و آب داده نمیشود!
روزه ابداً قابل مقایسه با یکشب ناشتا بودن برای آزمایش خون نیست!

در کلاس درس؛ کودک بهتزده به تختهسیاه نگاه میکند.
معلم با مهربانی او را چند بار صدا میزند ولی او متوجه نیست.
با خندۀ بلند بچهها، دخترک ناگهان ازجا میپرد.
معلم دستهای سرد کودک را در دستان خود میگیرد و به صورتش که بدلیل گرسنگی شدید رنگپریده است مینگرد.
-- خانوادۀ این دخترک فقیر نیستند. پس چرا اینقدر گرسنه است؟!
