Officer loses beloved dog after getting transferred from K-9 unit

That's ruff! A transit officer in Pennsylvania lost his partner and longtime family pet on Tuesday when the cop was transferred out of the K-9 unit. Officer Richard Galanti, of the SEPTA Transit Police Department, received notice on March 23 that the status of his beloved dog Abal was in jeopardy, the family said.
