The enclosed news article in todays dailies is indeed a good development. Easily the most powerful realty co with tremendous reacxh and networks, Unitech has been tormenting 20 K families over the past 10 years+-inordinate delays, continued lies/damn lies and statistics, all kinds of manipulations and 2 promoters protected in jail for 2 years. Ofcourse the clever siphoning off home buyers money is but obvious.

We thank our Honourable Supreme Court for this stand which was much needed and maybe some years back. With Govt to come back with a concrete plan of completing all pending cosntruction for hand over to buyers and a quality co like NBCC likely to step in, this will augur well for really distressed home buyers. I am sure many who just gave up any hope to get the apartments and opted for refunds will be happy to get a quality apartment as pers pecifications and live their dreams. We only hope similar steps are taken for Jaypee, Amrapalli and other names in the liquidation race after diverting home buyers money.

Let us hope that decade of miseries comes to an end soon with  Govt and Judiciary support ahead.
