Dear Friends and supporters, Yesterdays update was a bit sketchy on developments in Supreme Court on this cheat realty companies stand at Supreme Court. With more accurate information pouring in and the matter also reported in news papers now(ref clipping attached), I thought for the benefit of all 16 K families badly affected I should summarise again as below: 1.Respected Amicus Curie appointed by SC on Unitech drew Honourable Supreme Court's attention to applications filed by home buyers of Amber and Burgundy projects seeking substitution of developer by E Auction due to persistent lies and failures by Unitech in keeping promises 2.Estimated valuation of Unitech's 347 acres of land parcel in sectors 96,97 and 98 in Noida is Rs 1200 Crores after paying off Noida authorities dues, LIC dues and the cost of construction and delivery of these projects. 3. An appeal has been made to Honourable Supreme Court by the buyers to attach this land parcel and e auction funds to complete the same given Unitech's consistent failures and wrong commitments in neither completing these projects nor depositing the money estimated money for refunds to buyers. 4.Unitech lawyer Mr Ranjit Kumar has sought more time to address this by Unitech but SC has directed that before next hearing clear reply is sought for. 5. Consistent appeals to grant parole to imprisoned promoter Sanjay & Ajay Chandra to come out and negotiate better with prospective buyers was not entertained by SC. 6.Honourable SC also directed Chennai land buyer Omshakti Agencies(Madras) Pvt Ltd who was represented by one Mr Ramachandran to deposit of Rs 90 Crore(14.3 Mio USD approx) by 31 March 2018 or risk contempt of court actions. The full payment will only be rolled out in bits by sometime in 2019 I am 100% sure Honourable Chief Justice of India and honourable Judges at SC will take the steps which is in best interest of affected home buyers and only like to humbly add as a common man and also a cheated victim and who has interacted closely with Mr Ajay Chandra that the promoters are a bunch of fraud people and blatant liars. My personal thinking is that on a smaller scale as opposed to the recent PNB scam by Mr Nirav Modi, these people are also complete frauds and have been planning this fraud and engineering the same for years. Several swanky buildings/commercial properties which belong to Unitech when delved into deeper will reveal minimum share of the cheat promoters while all money has been carefully siphoned off through their complex structure of subsidiary companies. It is in best interest if such a fraud co is completely eliminated from the realty markets in India and whatever stakes they have in commercial buildings/lands be auctioned at the earliest to end this torture saga affecting tens of thousands of families. Let this be a lesson in the realty sector in India and let filth be removed. They are naked and shameless being in jail for months and have nothing more to lose.
