Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to sign the Keep Nethercote Rural petition, every signature counts! We have an important update about a further threat to yet more beautiful countryside from more proposed industrial development, this time in neighbouring Huscote

Only the A422 divides Nethercote from Huscote for which a screening opinion application has been submitted to Cherwell District Council & West Northamptonshire Council Planning Departments for an EIA opinion. This relates to proposals to concrete over this beautiful area of countryside and the A422 would become a warehouse corridor if both proposals were to be allowed

Not all development proposals require an EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) but despite the proposals for Huscote Farm meeting the criteria that would see an EIA required, the applicant argues that the area is insignificant and unimportant to the area and therefore the requirement could be disregarded in this instance.
