The graphic on the shirt mimicked the Corona Beer logo, but instead said "COVID-19. IMPORTED VIRUS FROM CHY-NA". China spelled in the way that former President Donald Trump constantly said with sarcasm and disdain in public. Baker is the same man who, in a press conference following the murders of 8 people, 6 of them Asian women, said the shooter was "having a really bad day". Jay Baker must not hold a position that is meant to protect and serve the public when he clearly has racist and bigoted tendencies. He MUST step down or the Sheriff's Dept. of Cherokee County must force him out. We demand justice. We demand our voices to be heard. We demand respect for all.
