Thankyou again to everyone who signed this petition. There’s clearly a lot of support in Cheltenham and further afield for markets to be places where real fur is banned. This petition is just the start of a conversation about the sale of real fur in markets in Cheltenham. The next step is that the Borough Council will be consulting later this year on its street trading licensing policy, this is an ideal opportunity for people who believe real fur should not be sold in Cheltenham street markets to get involved and have their say.
